JUNIOR SAILING INFORMATION
Niagara Sailing Club Chuck Meyer Jr. Memorial Junior Sailing Camp
Thank you for your interest in the NSC Junior Sailing Program. As you may already know, the Niagara Sailing Club suffered a devastating fire on March 20, 2021 that destroyed our beloved clubhouse.
We have made the difficult decision to suspend the Junior Sailing Program for 2022. Check back with us for the 2023 season! Feel free to read the below which contains all the information you will need for 2023.
Three skill levels of instruction will be offered • Beginner • Intermediate • Advanced
All junior sailors must be able to swim and will be required to pass a swim test.
This is a working camp. Campers will be asked to complete chores, physically rig and sail boats, assist other campers and crew as needed, and follow dock/water safety rules at all times.
Campers must be mature enough to follow the direction of the adult staff and volunteers at all times without disagreement or argument and to understand how to stay safe around docks and open water.
Campers need to bring: Swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses, water shoes, towel and bagged lunch (rashgauard/swim or sailing shirt encouraged)
Pop and Gatorade can be purchased at club. Water provided.
Coast Guard approved well-fitting life jacket is required.
All registration is online, when registering, please review fees and select appropriate amount.
